IS IT SACRED?
The time 38 years ago when a young Korean student got off an airplane carrying a tiny 6 month, 9 pound baby and placed her in my arms
and a year later another Korean student placed a frightened 13 month, 12 pound little boy with TB in my arms
.
Are there words that can describe that?
IS IT SACRED?
Are there words that can describe that little boy sitting on the plane heading to his new home clutching crumpled pieces of paper, trying to smile in brave anticipation?
IS IT SACRED?
The first time you set eyes on your child
When you saw those eyes looking up at you
Trusting
Quiet moments of love that need no words
IT IS SACRED.
